Formerly with the Walter & Wilhelm Law Group from 2008 to 2011, Ms. Waldow was employed as a law clerk and then as an attorney where her practice area emphasized adversary proceedings in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and business litigation. During her time with Walter & Wilhelm, she appeared in Federal Bankruptcy Court and in civil litigation cases in California State Superior Court.
Ms. Waldow brings prior experience in criminal investigations, fact analysis and witness interviewing to her current legal practice. While serving as a federal law enforcement officer with the National Park Service, she tried over twenty misdemeanor cases before Federal Magistrate Judges. In addition, she argued numerous motions pertaining to probable cause, search and seizure and related trial motions.
Her publications include: Finding Nexus – Establishing Authority for the Clean Water Act Beyond Traditional Navigable Waters, San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review Journal, vol. 17; and co-author of California Producer’s Liens: A Primer, San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review Journal, vol. 19. Her website-based publications include the following topics: piercing the corporate veil, badges of fraud, elder abuse, usury and cross-collateralization.
Ms. Waldow is admitted to the California State Bar, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and is qualified to appear before the California Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Fresno County Bar Association, Fresno County Women Attorneys, Fresno County Young Lawyers, the Fresno County Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Fig Garden Rotary Club. She has provided pro bono representation through Central California Legal Services and presented seminars on senior law and elder abuse.
Ms. Waldow was employed with the National Park Service for approximately twenty years. As a National Park Ranger, she was a law enforcement officer and a nationally registered emergency medical technician. During her tenure with the National Park Service she implemented environmental restoration projects and developed training in risk analysis for natural and archeological park resources.
